Detail & Specs
Flat point set screws have a flat end that will not damage the contact surface material, offering superior resistance to wear. The flat point design makes these set screws easy to adjust, seating it flush with or below the work surface after installation.
Set Screws can also be used as allen drive studs. Most full thread studs do not have an internal allen socket drive at one end, making set screws an easy-to-install alternative.
Measured by overall length, an allen socket hex drive is used to tighten this set screw.
Commonly used in damp environments for corrosion resistance, stainless steel set screws are popular across a wide range of industries: automotive, furniture, industrial machinery, architectural components, agriculture, food processing, clean energy, etc. For any application involving marine (salt water), use A4 / 316 Stainless Steel material, available as special order.
Also known as an allen drive type set screw with flat point, blind screw, fully threaded internal drive headless allen fastener.
