Super fine thread M12X1.0 metric hex bolts are extremely rare due to the uncommon 1.0mm thread pitch. Please double check your thread pattern measurements prior to ordering this size.
Hexagon style head bolts are one of the most commonly used fasteners, available in full thread or partial thread configurations. Class 10.9 metric hex bolts are considered hardened, providing a high strength, high tensile fastening solution. Pair with Class 10 or stronger nuts.
Partially threaded hex bolts have an unthreaded length under the head that is stronger than the threaded portion of the bolt. The unthreaded / threaded length dimensions vary by specification.
Hex bolts can be used with many different styles of locking and non-locking nuts, tightly clamping together whatever the bolt is being used to secure. A wrench is used to install and tighten hex bolts.
