Class 8 Steel / Coarse Thread Nylon Insert Flange Nut
Feature a non-serrated, flat underside and are able to withstand extreme vibrations without loosening. The smooth bottom flange acts as a built-in washer to evenly distribute force over a larger area against the fastening surface.
This nut does not damage the threads of bolts or screws and can be reused a limited number of times. Not recommended for higher temperature installations. Also known as prevailing torque hexagon nylon locking flange stop nut.
Materials
Class 8 metric locking flange nuts provide a medium strength, high tensile fastening solution. Commonly paired with Class 8.8 bolts and screws.
Finish
Zinc Plated and Yellow Zinc Plated finish provides corrosion resistance without sacrificing strength. Nylon insert color tone varies.
