Steel / Coarse Thread, Flanged Acorn Nuts
Acorn nuts are used to cover and protect exposed threads. The flange acts as a built-in washer to evenly distribute force over a larger area against the fastening surface.
The smooth flange bottom style is non-locking and will not damage the threads of bolts or screws and can be reused.
Common applications: motorcycles, industrial machinery, plumbing, machine construction, biogas, finish work.
Zinc Plated finishes provide corrosion resistance without sacrificing strength.
