Acorn nuts are used to cover and protect exposed threads.
This nylon locking nut relies on a nylon insert to create interference between the mating threads of a bolt or threaded rod. The nylon insert compresses to securely fasten the nut against the bolt, ensuring resistance to vibration and loosening.
Common applications: motorcycles, industrial machinery, plumbing, machine construction, biogas, finish work.
Zinc Plated and Yellow Zinc Plated finishes provide corrosion resistance without sacrificing strength.
