Super Thick Metric Stainless Steel Construction Washer
General Purpose, Small Outer Diameter
Reduced outer diameter flat washers are great for tight clearance applications. DIN 7989-1 washers have a slight taper outwards from the smooth rounded top side to the squared off bottom side.
Flat washers are placed under a bolt head or nut to evenly distribute the load of the fastener over a wider area. Washers also provide a smooth bearing surface against the parent material, protecting it and preventing damage.
Stainless steel washers are commonly used in damp environments. They are popular across a wide range of industries: automotive, agriculture, architectural, sanitation, food processing, clean energy, etc.
For any application involving marine (salt water), use A4 / 316 Stainless Steel material, available as special order.
