A compact small wrench size and reduced height make these hexagon collared nuts great for use in tight spaces with constricted access.
A black oxide finish provides minimal corrosion resistance, best for indoor, dry environments. This finish is not suitable for outdoor applications, and will rust when exposed to moisture.
Commonly used beneath a leveling bolt to prevent rotation.
