Metric Hollow Copper Crush Gasket / Made in Germany
Sealing washers are commonly used as drain plug gaskets or in applications that require prevention from fluid (oil, fuel, water, etc.) leaks.
Compress hollow copper crush washers to create a tight seal between two connecting parts. Once compressed / installed, these gaskets are not reusable.
Though "hollow" in form, these crush gaskets contain an asbestos-free fibre cushion fill. Best suited for lower pressure applications, they have a 300C max heat resistance.
As a soft metal, copper is a great choice for a sealing gasket; embedding itself in uneven contact surfaces. Corrosion resistant in damp and wet environments, copper is nonmagnetic and electrically conductive.
