ISO Flat Washer - Steel HARDENED HV-300 Plain ISO 7089
**Square Edge / No Chamfer**
General Purpose, Standard Outer Diameter
Flat washers are placed under a bolt head or nut to evenly distribute the load of the fastener over a wider area. Washers also provide a smooth bearing surface against the work surface, protecting it and preventing damage.
Use HV300 high strength washers with Class 10.9 and 12.9 Steel Bolts.
For corporate purchasers: these ISO washers are manufactured specifically to the ISO 7089 form and dimensional parameters.
ISO 7089 and ISO 7090 are both standards for flat washers, but the key difference is that ISO 7089 specifies a washer with a square edge (no chamfer), while ISO 7090 specifies a washer with a chamfered outside edge. Essentially, ISO 7089 is a "plain" washer, and ISO 7090 has a beveled edge.
