Metric KEPS Spin Nuts
Locking Hex Nut with Captive External Tooth Lock Washer
KEPS spin nuts turn freely during install until the lock washer contacts and bites into the mating surface as the nut is tightened, permanently marring the contact surface.
These free spinning washer nuts are reusable and offer a one-piece solution versus using a separate lock washer and a nut. KEPS nuts offer mild resistance to vibration.
