M10X1.5 Cup Point Allen Socket Set Screw - A2 Stainless ISO 4029
Cup point set screws have a concave indentation at one end. The cupped edge of the concave helps secure the set screw into place by digging to the contact surface material. This point style also helps prevent loosening from vibration.
Also known as an allen drive type set screw with cup point, blind screw, fully threaded internal drive headless allen fastener.
Measured by overall length, an allen socket hex drive is used to tighten this set screw.
For use in compression only, not for tensile or shear loads.
Set screws can be used as an easy-to-install alternative to full thread studs because they have an internal allen socket drive at one end.
