M2.2 Phillips Flat Head Tapping Screw - A4 Stainless DIN 7982-C
Phillips flat head self-tapping screws have a recessed phillips drive and a 90 degree angle head style in order to sit flush with countersunk holes. They are meant to be installed directly into sheet metal.
Tapping Screws require a pilot hole and tap their own threads during install. They cannot be used with machine thread tapped holes or machine thread nuts.
How to Measure Length
Always measured from the top of the head to the end of the threading (overall length).
Material: A4 / SAE Type 316
A4 / 316 Stainless Steel fasteners are "marine grade" corrosion resistant; suitable for salt water applications. A4 fasteners also offer increased resistance to chemicals when compared with A2 stainless fasteners.
