M5X0.8 Coarse Thread DIN 603 Metric Carriage Bolt / Class 4.6 Steel
Carriage bolts have a small square shoulder under the head that fits into a prepared square-bored hole. The self-locking square neck prevents rotation, holding the bolt in place while tightened with a mating nut.
A large, smooth domed head creates a safe finish installation, the absence of a drive socket prevents debris build up.
Class 4.6 steel is a low to medium strength carbon steel, pair with Class 6 or Class 8 nuts.
