M5X0.8 Small Head Diameter Flat Head Machine Screw / Stainless Steel
Special "JIS" small head diameter style screw with a recessed phillips drive. The 7.6-8mm JIS head diameter is narrower than the DIN 965 version of this screw which has a 9.2mm head diameter.
The reduced head size allows installation in tight space restricted areas, commonly used for motorcycles and other automotive applications.
Machine thread screws can be used in a tapped hole or with a locking / non-locking nut. Length is measured from underneath the head.
