High Profile + JIS Small Wrench / Fine, Extra Fine Thread
A small wrench size allows installation in space restricted areas. A higher profile / overall height provides additional thread engagement.
This locking nut relies on a nylon insert to create interference between the mating threads of a bolt or threaded rod. The nylon insert compresses to securely fasten the nut against the bolt, ensuring resistance to vibration and loosening.
Zinc Plated finishes provide corrosion resistance without sacrificing strength. Nylon lock nuts will not damage the threads a bolt or screw. Nylon insert color tone varies.
