Detail & Specs
Phillips Oval Head Machine Screw / Stainless Steel
Unlike flat head countersunk screws, the convex portion of an oval head screw is meant to sit proud of the work surface after installation. These machine thread screws can be used in a tapped hole or with a locking / non-locking nut.
These screws have a recessed phillips drive and a raised head profile. The underside of the head has a 90 degree angle.
The length of oval head countersunk screws is measured from the beginning of the undercut of the head (where the raised oval convex meets the 90 degree angle) to the end of the threading.
Material
Stainless machine screws are commonly used in damp or wet environments for corrosion resistance, popular across a wide range of industries: furniture, automotive, industrial machinery, architectural finish work, agriculture, food processing, clean energy, etc.
Additional Lengths: M4X5, M4X28, M4X55, M4X65, M4X70, M4X75, M4X80
For any application involving marine (salt water), use A4 / 316 Stainless Steel material, available as a special order.
