Metric Plain Steel Spherical / Conical Seat Washer
Spherical washers are used as a two-piece set (Male Form C + Female Form D) to compensate for clamping surfaces or threaded studs that are uneven, non-parallel or non-perpendicular.
DIN 6319, Type D / 6319-D "Female Form"
The Form D Female washer has a concave radius seat and is used as the bottom washer in the set. The flat underside of the Form D Female washer sits against the surface of the work.
The Form D Female concave surface seats the convex surface of the Form C Male washer, allowing it to swivel and compensate for uneven positioning.
Also known as dished washer, leveling washer. Commonly used as a two-piece set (male + female).
