A2 Stainless Thin Square Nut DIN 562
Four-sided square nuts provide greater surface contact (compared with a standard 6-sided hex nut) against the part being fastened. This provides greater resistance to loosening.
Square nuts work well in blind spots because they can be tightened with pliers or a wrench. The reduced height profile of thin square nuts makes them perfect for low clearance, tight space applications.

A2 Stainless square nuts are commonly used on metal construction projects: residential and commercial exteriors, solar installation, decking, terraces, fences, exterior stairs, drone components, porch furniture, recreational / playground equipment, pergolas, facades, railings, architectural facades and finish work.
For any application involving marine (salt water), use A4 / 316 Stainless Steel material, available by-the-box as a special order.
