Fender Washer - A2 Stainless DIN 9021
Fender washers have larger outer diameters than general purpose flat washers. DIN 9021 Fender washers have an outer diameter that measures 3X the inner diameter.
Use on oversized holes to distribute the load of the fastener over a wider area. Washers also provide a smooth bearing surface against the work surface, protecting it and preventing damage.
Material: A2 / HV 140
A2 Stainless washers are commonly used on metal construction projects: residential and commercial exteriors, solar installation, decking, terraces, fences, exterior stairs, porch furniture, recreational / playground equipment, pergolas, facades, railings, architectural facades and finish work.
For any application involving marine (salt water), use A4 / 316 Stainless Steel material, available by-the-box as a 1-2 week special order.
