Scotch Lock Instant tap connector.
This electrical connector quickly and easily allows an installer to tap into an existing wire. Just open the connector slightly so it can slide over the wire you'd like to tap into and then insert the wire you'd like to add into the only available opening left.
Simply fold over the plastic tab to engage the metal piece. The metal piece will slide down and pierce all wires at the same time. Light pressure with a pair of pliers might be necessary.
The plastic folding flap should lock into place when properly assembled.
Please note the metal tab is brass.
