T-TAP Instant Tap for Male Spade
This electrical connector quickly and easily allows an installer to tap into an existing wire without stripping it's sheathing.
Once installed, a male spade connector can be inserted perpendicular to wire being tapped. Simply fold over the plastic tab to engage the metal piece. The metal piece will pierce the wire's insulation once the locking tab is fully engaged.
Light pressure with a pair of pliers might be necessary. The plastic folding flap should lock into place when properly assembled.
Please note the metal tab is brass.
