Hex Head Drain Plug with Captive Seal
Used for plugging parallel thread tapped holes. These drain plugs have a FKM rubber gasket under the flange style head to secure the plug against the hole, preventing leakage. An wrench is used to install and tighten the plug.
The seal is fitted into a radial recess at the bottom of the flange, and cannot be lost or squeezed out during installation. These are not one-time use plugs, and can be used multiple times.
Hex head drive plugs are used extensively for commercial, industrial, automotives, boats, sanitary pipes and fittings.

Rubber Gasket: FKM 80 Shore -20°C to +200°C (-4°F to +392°F)
Finish
Zinc Plated finishes provide corrosion resistance. This finish has a corrosion resistance of 96 hours to white rust and 160 hours to red dust.
Also known as external hex screw plug with collar, hexagon head pipe plug, also great for blocking off intake manifold water ports, water pump ports, water temp and oil sender holes, and engine block holes.
