Metric High Collar Split Lock Washer
Small Outer Diameter / Low Profile
High Collar Split lock washers are designed for use with socket head bolts, cheese head screws or other threaded fasteners with a small head diameter. They exert a spring force between the head of the fastener and the parent material, increasing friction and providing resistance against rotation / loosening from vibration.
Stainless steel lock washers are commonly used in damp environments. They are popular across a wide range of industries: automotive, agriculture, architectural, sanitation, food processing, clean energy, etc.
For any application involving marine (salt water), use A4 / 316 Stainless Steel washers.
Also known as high collar split lock washer, metric helical spring steel lock washer, single coil square section spring washer, spring lock washer for cylindrical head screws. Not to be used with reverse thread (left hand) fasteners.
