M6 Metric Flat Head Socket Cap Screw, Stainless + Black Oxide
Flat head cap screws have a 90 degree angle underneath the head. When installed, the head of this screw is meant to sit flush with the surface of the work in a countersunk hole. Also known as a countersunk allen head machine screw, hex drive flat head countersunk socket cap bolt.

Fully threaded socket cap screws are meant to engage the entire length with a tapped hole. These bolts can be used with many different styles of locking and non-locking nuts, tightly clamping together whatever the cap screw is being used to secure.

The black oxide coating per MIL-DTL-13924, Class 4 on 300 series corrosion resistant steel meets 96 hours of resistance in a 5% salt spray (fog) test in accordance with ASTM B117. We recommend using stainless steel installation tools to prevent extraneous rust.
