Flat washers are placed under a bolt head or nut to evenly distribute the load of the fastener over a wider area.
Washers also provide a smooth bearing surface against the work surface, protecting it and preventing damage.
Material: A4 / HV 140
A4 / 316 Stainless Steel fasteners are "marine grade" corrosion resistant; suitable for salt water applications. A4 fasteners also offer increased resistance to chemicals when compared with A2 stainless fasteners.
