Class 8 Steel / Fuji Style Lock Nut
Fuji hex locking nuts can be installed and removed multiple times. The locking mechanism for this nut is a set of two or three retaining teeth made of spring steel. The interference between the locking teeth and the threads of the mating bolt prevents loosening during vibration.
The all metal construction is better for higher temperature installations where a nylon-insert lock nut might fail.
Material
Class 8 metric hex nuts provide a medium strength, high tensile fastening solution. Commonly paired with Class 8.8 bolts and screws. Zinc Plated finish provides corrosion resistance without sacrificing strength.
