A4-70 Stainless / Low Head Height
Low Profile socket head bolts are designed to be used in tight work areas where a reduced head height is required. An allen wrench is used to install these screws, allowing access into spaces where a traditional external hex drive bolt would not fit.
Partially threaded socket cap bolts have an unthreaded length under the head that is stronger than the threaded portion of the bolt. The unthreaded / threaded length dimensions vary by diameter.
Fully threaded socket cap screws are meant to engage the entire length with a tapped hole.These bolts can be used with many different styles of locking and non-locking nuts, tightly clamping together whatever the cap screw is being used to secure.

A4 / 316 Stainless Steel fasteners are "marine grade" corrosion resistant; suitable for salt water applications. A4 fasteners also offer increased resistance to chemicals when compared with A2 stainless fasteners.
