ISO 4017 hot-dip galvanized hex bolts are fully threaded fasteners with a hexagonal head, manufactured to ISO standards with a standard 6h thread tolerance for compatibility with metric nuts.
These bolts are ideal for structural and high-strength applications where full thread engagement is required, such as in steel fabrication, heavy equipment, and infrastructure projects.
Material + Finish
The Class 10.9 grade indicates a high-strength alloy steel with a minimum tensile strength of 1040 MPa. The hot-dip galvanized finish provides a thick, durable zinc coating for long-term corrosion resistance, even in harsh outdoor or industrial environments.
Because hot-dip galvanizing adds material to the thread surface, mating nuts or tapped holes should be prepared with oversized tapping allowances to ensure proper fit. This finish also creates a strong metallurgical bond, offering better abrasion and impact resistance than thinner electroplated coatings.
Commonly used in structural steel connections, outdoor equipment assemblies, wind and solar installations, and industrial machinery. These bolts are designed for use with ISO 4032 hex nuts or equivalent metric hardware with compatible finish and thread class.
