Tolerance:
The standard tolerance zones for ISO fittings each have a designated letter and number. Tolerance zones for the hole have capital letters, while tolerance zones for the shaft side of things have lower case letters.
For M16, m6 indicates that this pin has a tolerance of 0.025 from the nominal diameter.
How to Measure:
To measure a press fit pin, measure the length of the pin (including the chamfers if present) and the diameter of the smaller end.
Material: A4 / SAE Type 316
A4 / 316 Stainless pins are commonly used in "marine grade" corrosion resistant; suitable for salt water applications. A4 fasteners also offer increased resistance to chemicals when compared with A2 stainless.
