M24X3.0 Socket Head Cap Screw - A4-80 Stainless ISO 4762

Socket head bolts are great for limited space installation areas. An allen wrench is used to install these screws, allowing access into tight locations where a traditional external hex drive bolt would not fit.

Partially threaded socket cap bolts have an unthreaded length under the head that is stronger than the threaded portion of the bolt. The unthreaded / threaded length proportions vary by diameter.

Fully threaded socket cap screws are meant to engage the entire length with a tapped hole. The head style may be smooth or knurled. These bolts can be used with many different styles of locking and non-locking nuts, tightly clamping together whatever the cap screw is being used to secure.

Material: A4 / SAE Type 316

A4 / 316 Stainless Steel fasteners are "marine grade" corrosion resistant; suitable for salt water applications. A4 fasteners also offer increased resistance to chemicals when compared with A2 stainless fasteners.

Per DIN EN ISO 3506: A4-80 austenitic stainless steel specifically refers to a tensile strength of at least 800 N/mm2.

Commonly used in wet environments. Popular across a wide range of industries: automotive, agriculture, photographic, medical / surgical,  food processing, clean energy, etc.
