M2X0.4 Dog Point Allen Socket Set Screw - A2 Stainless ISO 4028
Dog point set screws have a round, smooth unthreaded tip meant to align with and lock into a pre-cut bore in the mating part. Commonly used in industrial assembly automation components to increase efficiency.
Also known as allen drive type dog set screw, blind screw, fully threaded internal drive headless allen fastener.
Measured by overall length, an allen socket hex drive is used to tighten this set screw.
For use in compression only, not for tensile or shear loads.
Set screws can be used as an easy-to-install alternative to full thread studs because they have an internal allen socket drive at one end.
Material A2 Stainless Steel
