Round head solid rivet
A solid rivet consists of a cylindrical shaft and a head at one end. The head is larger than the shaft and provides the holding force once the rivet is installed. Typically made from a single, solid, piece of material. The rounded head provides a clean finish and distributes the load evenly.
Used in applications that demand the highest levels of structural integrity.
Solid rivets require access to both sides of the materials being joined, and specialized tools are needed for installation.
Preferred when the joint must bear heavy loads or be highly resistant to vibrations, making them ideal for structural applications where safety and longevity are critical.
Rivet connections are intended to be permanent, removal of the rivet is only possible by destroying the rivet.
Material: A2 / SAE Type 304
A2 / 304 Stainless pins are commonly used on residential and commercial exteriors, solar installation, decking, terraces, fences, exterior stairs, porch furniture, recreational / playground equipment, pergolas, facades, railings, architectural facades and finish work.
For any application involving marine (salt water), use A4 / 316 Stainless Steel material.
