M3X0.5 Phillips Oval Head - Steel 4.8 Zinc DIN 966
Convex portion of an oval head screw is meant to sit proud of the work surface after installation. These machine thread screws can be used in a tapped hole or with a locking / non-locking nut.
These screws have a recessed phillips drive and a raised head profile. The underside of the head has a 90 degree angle.
The length of oval head countersunk screws is measured from the beginning of the undercut of the head (where the raised oval convex meets the 90 degree angle) to the end of the threading.
Material: Steel Class 4.8 Zinc Plated
A reliable, general-purpose steel suitable for a wide array of industrial and commercial applications. To enhance their longevity and performance, these fasteners are treated with a robust zinc-plated finish. This process creates a cost-effective yet effective barrier against rust and oxidation, significantly extending the lifespan of the screw.
The zinc plating ensures that the fasteners maintain their structural integrity and appearance, even in environments with moderate moisture exposure.
