M3X0.5 Torx Pan Head Screw - Steel Zinc ISO 14583
Torx Drive pan head screws have a wide diameter head profile with rounded, chamfered / curved sides and a recessed six-lobe drive.
Machine thread screws can be used in a tapped hole or with a locking / non-locking nut. Length is measured from underneath the head.
Also known as metric hexalobular socket pan head cap screw, raised cheese head torx screw, machine pan head torx drive screw.
A six lobe torx wrench is used to install these screws, allowing access into spaces where a traditional external hex drive bolt would not fit. Torx drive screws provide higher torque transfer because the driving forces are transferred to each surface of the six lobes (wobble-free), instead of the four edges of the four edges on a phillips drive.
Material: Steel Class 4.8 Zinc Plated
A reliable, general-purpose steel suitable for a wide array of industrial and commercial applications. To enhance their longevity and performance, these fasteners are treated with a robust zinc-plated finish. This process creates a cost-effective yet effective barrier against rust and oxidation, significantly extending the lifespan of the screw.
The zinc plating ensures that the fasteners maintain their structural integrity and appearance, even in environments with moderate moisture exposure.
