M4 Coiled Spring Pin - 303 Stainless ISO 8750
Rolled form pin made of 2 1/4 turns.
Used to align and secure components relative to one another. The spiral design allows stress to be evenly distributed.
Use a larger pin outer diameter than the shaft’s inner diameter. The pin will exert force against the shaft's wall, creating a tight fit. Ideal for applications where severe vibration/shock loading is present.
How to Measure:
Measure the length of the pin (including the chamfers if present) and the diameter.
Material: A1 / SAE Type 303
A1 / 303 Stainless pins are commonly used in machining, the automotive industry, as well as for decorative strips, door handles and oil drain valves.
For any application involving marine (salt water), use A4 / 316 Stainless Steel material.
