M4X0.7 Cone Point Allen Socket Set Screw - A4 Stainless ISO 4027
Cone point set screws have a pointed taper meant to fit into a depression in the mating surface to create a secure connection point.
Measured by overall length, an allen socket hex drive is used to tighten this set screw.
Also known as allen drive type set screw with cone point, blind screw, fully threaded internal drive headless allen fastener.
For use in compression only, not for tensile or shear loads.
Set screws can be used as an easy-to-install alternative to full thread studs because they have an internal allen socket drive at one end.
