M4X0.75 Ex Coarse Retired JIS Pan Head - Stainless Steel JIS B-1111
The industry wide manufacturing specification used today for M4 JIS and DIN hardware is M4X0.7 coarse threading. This M4 screw is threaded to the 0.75mm extra coarse pitch and will only thread into a nut or tapped hole measuring M4X0.75.

Head Style
Special "JIS" small head diameter style screw with chamfered / curved sides and a recessed phillips drive. Length is measured from underneath the head.
The reduced head size allows installation in tight space restricted areas, commonly used for motorcycles and other automotive applications. The head height and head diameter of this pan head screw is roughly 10-13% smaller than a standard pan head machine screw.
