M6 Torx + Pin Button Head Security Screw, Black Stainless Steel

Security screws protect your possessions against unwanted tampering. The Torx+Pin loss-prevention drive style requires a special bit to install, discouraging theft attempts.

Button head tamperproof screws have a common button head profile, great for limited space installation areas. The smooth head design gives a neat, professional finish free from sharp edges, great for furniture and automotive applications. Machine thread screws can be used in a tapped hole or with a locking / non-locking nut. Length is measured from underneath the head.

Drive Style
SL-drive with pin ( 6-Lobe Recess ) also known as inner multi-tooth drive

Material: Stainless Steel
Suitable for damp locations
Corrosion resistant

Finish: Black Oxide
- Abrasion resistant, does not peel, chip or rub off
- Reduces friction, prevents galling
- Does not change the strength of the stainless steel
- Practically no dimensional change to base fastener
- The spray applied during the coating process wears off over time, revealing an attractive matte black finish

The black oxide coating per MIL-DTL-13924, Class 4 on 300 series corrosion resistant steel meets 96 hours of resistance in a 5% salt spray (fog) test in accordance with ASTM B117. We recommend using stainless steel installation tools to prevent extraneous rust.

Applications include safety engineering, public access spaces, solar industries, and general metal construction. Also known as metric button head security screw, machine screw, or pan head screw.
