Metric Even Thread / Double Ended Stud
Even studs, or "tap end studs" have the same length of thread at either end with an unthreaded shank in the middle. Both sides are right hand threaded and can accept a nut or installation into a tapped hole.

Material
Class 8.8 metric studs provide a medium strength, high tensile fastening solution. Pair with Class 8 or stronger nuts.
Finish
Zinc Plated and Yellow Zinc Plated finishes provide corrosion resistance without sacrificing strength. A black oxide finish provides minimal corrosion resistance, best for indoor, dry environments. This finish is not suitable for outdoor applications, and will rust when exposed to moisture.
