M8X1.25 Slotted Cheese Head - A2-70 Stainless DIN 84
Cheese head screws have a reduced head diameter, making them an excellent choice for compact spaces. Cheese heads feature a flat bearing surface and a single indented horizontal slot.
As an older ���legacy��� screw style these are commonly used for restoration projects in automotive and industrial applications.
Machine thread screws can be used in a tapped hole or with a locking / non-locking nut. Length is measured from underneath the head.

DIN 84 Specification
The manufacturing tolerance within the DIN 84 dimensional spec allows for the top of the cheese head profile to have either a sharp outer edge or a chamfered outer edge profile.
