Square Nut THIN - Class 4 Steel Zinc DIN 562
Four-sided square nuts provide greater surface contact (compared with a standard 6-sided hex nut) against the part being fastened. This provides greater resistance to loosening.
Square nuts work well in blind spots because they can be tightened with pliers or a wrench. The reduced height profile of thin square nuts makes them perfect for low clearance, tight space applications.
