EPDM + Brass Insert "Well" Nut
Well Nuts have a flange on one end with a long shank that is inserted into a hole.
During install the tightening of the bolt causes the shank to bulge and expand, securing it in place.
Commonly used for applications where a weather resistant seal is needed. Also used for blind hole applications.
Also known as as a Rawl nut, Rawlnut, or a rubber rivet nut.
