External Tab Washer - A4 Stainless DIN 432
The tab on these metric lock washers can be bent against the flats of a hex nut or head of a bolt to prevent the fastener assembly from turning and loosening.
Helpful in settings were vibration causes parts to loosen.
External Tab Lock Washers have a conical spring lock shape which helps distribute force and hold the fastener assembly securely in place.
For a similar style washer tab lock that has increased resistance to vibration, DIN 93 Single Tab Lock Washer is a good alternative.
Material: A4 Stainless
A4 / 316 Stainless Steel fasteners are "marine grade" corrosion resistant; suitable for salt water applications. A4 fasteners also offer increased resistance to chemicals when compared with A2 stainless fasteners.
