Speed Clip Style Captive Steel Cage Nut
Comprised of a spring steel panel clip style cage wrapped around a square nut. The square nut fits loosely within the cage to allow for slight alignment adjustments.
Designed to be used in many applications including blind assemblies and equipment racks. Use along a level or inclined panel edge or mount in rectangular mounting holds in the middle of a panel.
No special tools are required to mount these nuts. Reduce assembly time: tapping, welding or riveting not required.
Materials + Finish:
Cage: Spring Steel
Captive Nut: Class 8 Steel
Both components coated in Black Phosphate + Oil Finish to prevent rust
Also known as a speed caged nut, captive nut or clip nut.
