Phillips Drive Flat Head TAPPING Screw / Stainless
Self-Tapping screws are meant to be installed directly into sheet metal. Tapping Screws require a pilot hole and tap their own threads during install.
They cannot be used with machine thread tapped holes or machine thread nuts.
Head Style
Flat head tapping screws have a 90 degree angled head profile in order to sit flush with countersunk holes. The length of flat head countersunk screws is always measured from the top of the head (overall length).
